Tyler Wang is a photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he grew up and first picked up a camera in 2010. What started as borrowing his dad’s camera quickly turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, Tyler has focused on portrait photography, drawn to the challenge of capturing the unique personalities of the people he works with.

He has a soft spot for film photography, appreciating its raw, unfiltered quality, and often prints and frames his work to give it a physical presence. While he loves the nostalgia of film, he’s also embraced modern techniques, diving into videography in 2020 to expand his creative skills.

When he’s not shooting, Tyler spends his time gaming or practicing archery, two hobbies that balance his creative side with focus and precision. For Tyler, photography is about more than just taking pictures—it’s about connecting with people and creating something meaningful.
